Hello fellow bloggers! Hope you all are doing fine. Well the wk.end went great and having hubby home this wk,has been wonderful! I live in Franklin Township, it has a reputation of being (some say) a expensive place to lay down your roots. High taxes, expensive schools, blah blah blah. I don’t so much agree, but to the point. Sun. at church I learned that there are 68 homeless children in our township schools! 68 ! Living in cars, in shelters, where ever they can find a place. My heart nearly broke! There’s probably more than that,not everyone would let it be known. I just thank God every day for a roof over my head,and a warm bed to sleep in at night,food on the table every night. At the same time,I feel almost guilty for having these essentials for life. Why me? The church has since been flooded with calls as to how can we help? thank God,people including myself ,are available to help out. God wants us to be the salt of the earth,but unless I get out of the shaker, what good can I do? Not much! So the senior minister is putting together a plan of action so that everyone can help out. It’s all about being salty enough to enhance the lives of these children and their families! I don’t mean to preach but this has weighed heavy on my mind all week!  Next blog , I won’t preach. Hello world of bloggers!

Everyone always says you gotta have a blog, well…here we go. I’m hoping that in time I will begin to enjoy this less than exciting way of communication. What’s the big deal? It ’s taken 2 days to get this far,so I’m trying to be positive here and realize this may take some time to learn, and will be enjoyable once you get down the basics.Is there a book called Blogging for Idiots? There’s books for every other kind of idiot out there,so I’m sure there’s one for bloggers.

Hi my name is Becky and this is my first blog ever! I live in Franklin Township, which is a suburb of  Indianapolis  IN. We used to live out in the country but they’re building like crazy all around us now. I have 2 daughters, a part time husband, and 2 dogs, girls also. My husbands business is very demanding and is here in Indianapolis and in North Carolina  (Charlotte area ) so he spreads himself kinda thin. He’s a great guy and a wonderful provider for all. He is also a Christian. He has been involved with high school youth group at church for several years.He works with special needs teens.
