well now it’s been acouple of wks. now since my stats started to show no activity. I guess that can be a good thing or a bad thing. A good thing in being that I can pretty much say whatever is on my mind without holding back. personal journal . Bad thing in that I miss all my little words and views that warm me to pieces.  I  guess I can always pull the plug on this silly little hobbie of mine,but I actually enjoy  blogging. we’ll see, I’ve been helping set up this new business venture of my husband’s most of last wk.and this wk. I’m almost done with  my part. Setting up this office, just getting it ready ,supplies,furniture so when he gets home from Utah week after next, it’s ready to roll. I’m ready, this has been some test. God has been in the center so far and I don’t want that to change. It would be worthless and fail miserabley without Him. Well I’ve gotta go, I think I’m going out for dinner It’s been a long day. I was clearing out a closet today and came across some old pictures of mine, it’s funny how time seems to just fly by. So it’s 5:25 AM, and I just woke up with a reminder that the challenge of basketball in the pool yesterday with the kids should have remained a challenge!  Ouch! I am hurting big time! Sometimes when you actually win at something you honestly need to re-evaluate( win). Every muscle that exist is on fire and I have never been this sore in my life! It started when one of these kids skimmed a ball across the water and a wave hit me in the face,then the challenge! I know I should of just walked away, but no, I couldn’tget in the pool fast enough! With all that being said, it was a great day, my sister-in-law,had a party Sun. she lives in Michigan City,out in the country with lots of land for 4 wheeling or snowmobiling pending on the season. It was great not to mention she is amazing when it comes to cooking and entertaining. We got home very late and I was sure I would sleep til at least 7:00 but  my sore body was screaming Tylenol so,just waiting for it to take effect. Hope that happens soon cause I have a busy day planned and have to be able to walk! Hi bloggers,Just wanted to say thanks for the prayers I feel much better today, God is faithful! This is such a great time of year, the Marion county fair is in town. Last night they had animals galore and country music! Not to mention fair food! It’s funny as we get a little bit older the rides that used to make us scream and laugh like we were nuts,now seem to make us puke just watching them go round! the last time I could hardly wait to get on a ride with my daughter and show her how fun the tilttawhirl was ,..a  most humbling experience,reminding me that I wasn’t as young as I thought I was ,or remembered to be! You end up in the porta potty losing all that greasy fair food,all the while saying no honey mom’s just fine,and no I don’t wanna go again! Maybe we should just stick to the baby pigs, and goats, and have an elephant ear,or listen to the country music singers for a less exciting evening. They say” you’re only as old as you feel,”well this has been my opinion while doing cartwheels in the front yard,but  not a good analogy after being spun around and round on that crazy ride! So before you go saying”come on sweetie ride this with momma you’re gonna love this it’s so fun”…..remember…before you embarrass yourself in front of your child…It may not be quite the ride that it used to be! But go ahead give it a shot, if you’re feelin fairly young! get it (fairly young)lol! pretty good huh?  have a great evening, LUVS & HUGS,   Becky:0           ????

Hey, it’s kinda been one of those days where you wish you had just woke up and could start all over again! Starts out with a huge headache,I think I am grinding my teeth at night ,cause my whole jaw hurts. Then I check my mail and blogs and find one of my fav blogs doesn’t show my post so I feel like a complete idiot, then my daughter comes through the door with an ankle the size of a watermelon.Bad sprang from falling down a hill last night. GROUCHY! Dog poop on the floor for the 3rd time this wk! What’s up with that? She seems to be mentally challenged! As am I cause now I’m blogging in bold letters and have no idea why. The day is going to get better, because I’m going to stop and go pray here in just a min. Just a bit out of my element not sure why,maybe the evil one playing with me today.As I’ve said a million times before I blog to let off steam sometimes it helps. So the food I made yesterday is in the fridge,neighbors are too busy to eat. I hope they get here by tomorrow or else I’m havin a party,and we’re gonna do some major damage with all this food. (I mean by eating it)!!Her surgery went well thanks for prayers. ya know every family has a car or two with power steering and my grandfather used to have one without power steering. This is my comparison to children and the days that we live out, some days take a little more strength to steer and keep straight than others,some children need l little more control  in keeping their path straight than others. I feel like a car without power steering today,I’ve had la bit of trouble keeping myself on the road today,hard to steer. God needs to be more at the center of my day, if He was,then everyday would be a day with power steering.Ya never know when God may need you to parallel park,for me it was today. Hi blogsters, well my neighbor is the sweetest lil lady you could ever hope to meet. I go to her church,and worship with her every Sun. AM. She used to sing with her twin all over the world, she is retired now she’s about in her mid 70’s. Her twin died last year,so she moved in next door with her adorable mother. Yesterday she went to Community South hospital to have a stint put in her heart,but when they started her procedure they decided she was too bad,so they moved her to Community North and she’s having triple by-pass surgery today at 12:00. Pray, Pray, Pray.  Her family all came in this morning from Missouri. I am alone today every one’s at college orientation until around 1:30, so I’m cookin up a storm. Fried chicken,baked beans, potato salad, peach cobbler,and of course ice creme. Tonight when they get home they will be able to eat and get some rest. Her son has 4 children and they also came. They are all gonna be so tired from being stressed out all day. I’m just praying that God will provide comfort and a sense of calm for her. I know she must be scared. She has sang for the Lord for so long and under so many circumstances ,I know He is right there beside her in that room. He has been with me lately ,answering prayers so powerfully, His love is of such great magnitude I can’t even describe it. You have to feel it to be able to understand it. \Hey bloggers, today worship was good our senior minister was out of town,so one of our more youthful ministers spoke on friendships.Great sermon, great music,and worship. Went out for lunch with a bunch of family, instead of eating at home. Turned out great,now the lunch I prepared becomes dinner! Yeah,,all done! It’s so pretty outside,I don’t plan on being inside long. The sun is calling my name. I was reading a little of Charels Stanley last night he was talking about feelings of self-worth. I love to listen to his southern voice. He mentioned ways to acquire feelings to make you feel worthy. It doesn’t  happen by standing in front of the mirror repeating to ourselves,I am worthy,I am worthy, I am worthy.It comes when we stand in front of the cross,and understanding I am worthy because God says I  am worthy because Jesus died in my place for all of my junk so that I might live in eternity with God. I have to repeat this to myself constantly to understand His un-dying mercy. Anyway, I could go on and on.Oh he also talked about idols and leaving them behind so we may move forward in life,with Christ. Sound familiar? It’s gonna be a great day,the Sun day paper, sweet tea ,and the patio!!! Hello Blog people, For those of you that are of faith you may get this, if not you quite frankly won’t care. I was just exposed to a situation where I heard some one say”well they must not be christian,cause that’s not a very christian thing to do”. What exactly does that mean? Some one was having a bad day,sooo they must not be christian? Christian people don’t have bad days,they are foot loose and fancy free 24-7 ? Sometimes I think we as christian people try to set an example the best that we can, but we are human beings and sometimes just like everyone else we have days that we don’t always make God  shine as well as we would like. My point being christian people are just like any one else when it comes to running into some trouble at sea,It’s not always smooth sailing. I have issues just like the next guy,I just take my issues to God and ask Him to intercede and take control of that issue. So if your one of those who categorize people,we need to be categorised amongst the human species,not the super natural,perfect people we are sometimes mistaken for. I know this a lame blog I just had to say this as I came home from the store and was troubled by what I over heard. The rain finally stopped just in time yesterday for some celebration of our freedom. Praise God! We have a family tradition where the whole family and a bunch of friends meet on top of this hill in Beech Grove at Sara Bolton park on the 3rd of July for fireworks,and fun. This year like in the past I was wondering if it was gonna happen. Well it did!! We had a great time. Music was good ,food was good, and it was great seeing everyone,you know the type of friends that you may only see once a year, but pick up right where you left off the year before. I love these people. This is probably one of my favorite times of year. Valentine’s Day at the top, and of course Christmas, spirituallyspeaking. I love the celebration of Christ’s birthbut not all that goes with it, meaning how we are so caught up in the parties and gifts that we lose track of what it is we are celebrating. If I could change that I would make it all about Jesus. No gifts, except for gifts of giving back. Gifts to the church, gifts to missions, gifts to shelters,and places where you see God’s hand at work,after all this is His birthday not our own. Oh well, any way the fireworks were amazing I have never seen fireworks like that in BG. I think maybe they got the downtown fireworks by mistake !  Excellent show, and lots of hugs and kisses! Tonight downtown, I love to go early and just watch people, if the weather doesn’t get in the way. Gonna fry chicken in a little bit to take down ,for the entire family, can’t wait oh and make a truck load of cookies. Don’t forget to thank God for the gift of freedom we celebrate this 4th of July!!!! OK,here’s a little something funny,well maybe not! We have new insurance provider and we were forced to choose a dentist on the list this provider gave us. Well, my husband not being of sound mind, called a dentist last wk to book a cleaning for my daughter ,and myself ,and of course himself. Late yesterday afternoon he told me about this appt. Since i’m in the business I asked him with whom do I have an appt. He told me and I went in to look this dentist up on line and wasn’t at all impressed with what I read. I told him I wasn’t going and he reminded me that it was too late to cancel. SOOOOO this morning  we went to this town called Fairland all 3 of us at 8:00 . We pull up to this house with weeds growing way tall and a rusted sign out front with the dentist’s name on it ,back windows broken out and covered with something like bubble wrap! I told him I wasn’t going in but he insisted. So we went in to find this adorable old man. He was the dentist. TOO LATE to leave now,he cleaned all of our teeth with this equipment from the 60’s or there about. Sweetest ole guy you would ever want to meet. You should have seen the look on my daughters face!!!! Priceless!! He had a cup sitting there and would have you rinse and spit in this bowl. lol lol lol  !!  Everything was dirty and old,but he was just a character! We talked about horse racing, sports,,, he’s a colt’s fan and country music,and gospel music. I’m not going back but I loved this guy,he just needs to retire. Precious, when we left he said hey,Becky come here a min. so I went back where he was and he gave me a CD of Alan Jackson CD memories,really cool CD of gospel music, the old stuff we used to sing as little kids. Then he told me not to go to the race track cause a hamburger cost 16.00 frickin dollars! lol  I’m tellin ya what,he said he didn’t care if it was a whole lb, of meat it wasn’t worth 16.00. lol!!! What a day ,God is good and has a sense of humor beyond words! Just wanted to share a little of my morning with you .
